Who I Am

A love story obsessive, based at the beach.

I'm based at Umina Beach on the Central Coast of NSW, and I've been in love with love stories for as long as I can remember. The ones that start with a terrible first date. The ones where they both knew immediately. The ones with fifteen years of friendship before someone finally said something. All of them.

I became a civil celebrant because I wanted to do something that genuinely mattered to people. I get to sit with couples at the most significant moment of their relationship and help them put words to it. That's not something I take lightly.

When I'm not writing ceremonies or meeting couples for coffee, you'll find me at the beach, in a good bookshop, or overcommitting to a new project I'm convinced I have time for. Life here is full and loud and exactly right.

How I Work

The ceremony starts long before the day.

My process starts with a conversation, a real one. I want to know how you actually met, not just the polished version. I want the details. The funny parts. The things that made you think: yes, this is the person.

From there, I write. Every ceremony is built from scratch around the two of you: no templates, no borrowed phrases, nothing recycled. What comes out the other end is something that could only ever be yours.

I'll share a draft before the day, we'll refine it together, and when it's ready, I'll deliver it with warmth and presence.
